My awesome friend has created a challenge that I feel we all need to participate in. Go to her page for details. Below is my Day 7. No, I did not skip day 6. It is posted on my Instagram…
“Write a love letter to yourself...”
Writing this letter was harder than I thought. We talk so much but it often feels like no one really hears you. I know you take that out on yourself, but it’s time out for that. You’ve waited long enough for love. It’s time to figure it where your true happiness lies.
You’ve always secretly lived for the validation of those around you. And although it’s nice for you to want to help others, it’s time for you to focus on your purpose and your passion. I know you are impatient and you see those around you getting the things they want, but God has not forgotten about you. In fact, He’s really just waiting on you to let Him move.
Loving yourself does not mean you have to be perfect. All it means is that you forgive yourself. That you allow yourself to live and learn. That you say no to things that don’t bring you peace. That you focus on your strengths and blessings. That you are accountable for the things you want to change that are in your control.
