If I'm being honest, half the time, I don't even feel like it's worth it. My mess is familiar; it's easier and its comfortable. I know what happens there, even if it's negative, it is no surprise. I'm prepared to deal with it.

I can buy my own roses.
I am a firm believer of giving people their roses while they are alive. If you somehow have no clue what that means, it's simple: show love and gratitude to those you appreciate while they are alive to feel the love. I seriously get frustrated when good people are constantly taking advantage of. Especially those … Continue reading I can buy my own roses.
I don’t deserve 500 things.
Now, I’m not saying don’t dream or make goals. Visualizing your goals is what should motivate you. Why do you think vision board parties have become so popular? Put that thing in your face long enough and you’ll figure out a way to get it. But I cannot sit and say, “Oh, I wish God would bless me with a nice figure,” while I’m sitting in my bed eating pasta and breadsticks.
Find your happy
Bad news travels faster than good news. It’s a proven fact. You’ll hear about a dirty restaurant with dry food before you hear about a five-star restaurant with delicious meals. Why do we do that? Why are we so quick to share the negative? Society has made it so easy for us to do this. … Continue reading Find your happy
Hating won’t make you great.
Have you ever gotten low key upset at ANOTHER engagement announcement on your social media? It could be your cousin or closest friend and while your commenting about how excited you are…a little piece of your heart is breaking? No…just me? Okay. Y’all lying….but it’s okay. Now, I haven't lost sight of my goals, however this train to success seems to be moving a lot slower than I'd hoped. I am currently in the process of trying to relocate. I know, if … Continue reading A 30’s life crisis is real
Nobody respects a quitter.
Being inconsistent sucks. Because I can’t think of anything worse right now than starting over. Starting over with my financial recovery. Starting over with my clean eating. Starting over with exercising. Starting over in my celibacy journey. But truth is, I’ve stopped each of these things more than I’ve started them. Each time I slip, … Continue reading Nobody respects a quitter.
Monday Morning Blues
Why do people hate Mondays so much? I’ve seen some reasons like partying too hard on the weekend and hating their jobs. We may all have a specific reason why mornings are not our friends, but that doesn’t stop the fact that time is still moving and bills do not pay themselves
Mind Control Tips
It’s a very popular trend to say hello to a new month on social media. As a matter of fact, if you google “hello February,” so many cute little graphics come up for you to post on social media. I wasn’t ready for the hello February’s. I’m excited about my birthday plans, but not actually … Continue reading Mind Control Tips
All about the budget, baby.
A very important part of my journey to recovering is my financial recovery. This is probably the thing I don’t want to blog about (or work on) the most. I have horrible saving and budgeting skills. Let me rephrase that. I have the skills and refuse to use them. I’ve had a job since I … Continue reading All about the budget, baby.
